New Delhi: HTC is all set to launch its much-anticipated HTC One Max phablet on October 15, reports The Wall Street Journal, citing two people familiar with the matter.
The HTC One Max is likely to come with a 5.9-inch 1080p display. Speculations are rife that the HTC One Max will include a fingerprint scanner - a feature similar to Apple's Touch ID that the company last month introduced with the launch of iPhone 5s.
It is still not clear what all will the fingerprint scanner on the HTC One Max would allow users to do. Reports are doing the rounds that the HTC One Max will run Android and come with an Ultrapixel camera. The phone is also rumoured to be powered by a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S800 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.
It is also speculated that the HTC One Max will have a removable back. There are also pictures of the device which are doing the rounds on the Chinese social network Sina Weibo. One of the pictures shows the mammoth HTC One Max with its back panel removed and hints a fingerprint scanner.####
