Indian Army's Tactical Drone Crosses LoC Due To Technical Malfunction, Lands In Pakistan: Sources
A mini unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the Indian Army on a training mission well within the Indian territory lost control at 9:25 am due to a technical malfunction and drifted into the Nikial Sector of Pakistan opposite our Bhimber Gali Sector

A tactical drone of the Indian Army crossed the Line of Control (LoC) from Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri sector and landed in Pakistani territory on Friday. A mini unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the Indian Army on a training mission well within the Indian territory lost control at 9:25 am due to a technical malfunction and drifted into the Nikial Sector of Pakistan opposite our Bhimber Gali Sector.

The Army drone was engaged in a routine surveillance mission when the incident occurred, sources said. As per reports, Pakistani troops have recovered the same. A hotline message has been sent to the Pakistan Army to return the said UAV.

The Indian Army is likely to engage with the Pakistan Army for Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) level talks to address the situation.
