Jaipur: HC orders demolition of 9-storeyed building

Jaipur: A nine-storeyed residential building in Jaipur's dry river catchment area was demolished on Sunday evening on the High Court's orders after it was found to have encroached upon the city's drainage system.

A group of dynamite experts had been trying to pull down the building for the past five days.

During the recent heavy rain, the building had reportedly clogged the city's drainage system.
