Srinagar: Another controversy rocked the People's Democratic Party (PDP)-Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) coalition government in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday with separatist-turn-politician Sajjad Lone, miffed for giving him 'insignificant' ministry, refused to attend office.
Lone has been given the Science and Technology and Animal Husbandry Ministry in the Mufti Mohammad Sayeed government which took oath on Sunday.
Lone rushed to Srinagar refusing to attend his office. Sources said he is unhappy with the way he was dealt with Mufti.
This is yet another controversy rocking the four-day government. The day Mufti took oath, he thanked Pakistan, terrorists and the Hurriyat for conducive elections in the State. A day later, eight PDP MLAs said Parliament attack mastermind Afzal Guru's hanging was a "travesty of justice" and that his mortal remains should be brought back from Tihar Jail in New Delhi and handed over to his family members.
