HYDERABAD: Kiteflying proved fatal for a nineyearold boy who he fell from the fifth floor of an underconstruction building at Amberpet on Sunday.
The boy, P Jagdish of Vaddera Basthi, went on the fifth floor around 8 a.m. Deeply engrossed in kiteflying, he did not notice that he reached the edge of the terrace which had no parapet wall and fell down from there. He died instantly due to multiple injuries, Amberpet police subinspector Ch Rangaswamy said. Jagdish was a Class III student of Saraswati School at Amberpet. His father, Ram Babu, works as a watchman at a building in the same locality. Police registered a case.
