BHUBANESWAR: Members of the students union of University Law College went berserk in the campus after their demands were not met by the authorities.   The students had pressed the authorities two years back for better amenities, but no action was taken. They had already warned the university management about closing down the campus if their demands were not met but to no avail.   The students have been demanding class rooms for Third and Fifth year students, hostel facilities for boys and girls of Third year LLB course, well constructed library and construction of union room and common room among the infrastructure developments. They have also demanded that the vacant staff and faculty posts be filled up while campus selection and placement for the students be arranged regularly.  The principal, SAK Azad said the student’s demand were reasonable. He assured that the management would  do its best to fulfil the demands. Earlier, the student union president had claimed that even though the funds for infrastructure development had been sanctioned, the management had deliberately not used it.
