Lightning claims two lives

BARGARH: A man and his son died on the spot after being struck by lightning in S Dumerpali village under Bargarh Sadar police limits on Thursday evening. Their  bullock was also killed in the lightning. The deceased, identified as Khageswar Sahu (55) and Tejeswar Sahu (30), were working in their farmland when the incident took place. Bullocks seized, 7 held Police seized as many as 100 bullocks and arrested seven persons, including five contractual labourers, from Kuketura village under Attabira police limits while they were illegally transporting the animals on Wednesday. The two main accused have been identified as Upendra Alodia and Sarat Das of Burla.
