MEA said Japan has offered to provide financial, technical and operational support to India to introduce Shinkansen system.
On his third day in Japan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a luncheon meeting of business leaders in Tokyo. This the PM's first trip out of the sub-continent. Modi, while lauding the Japanese government for their warm reception, said that good governance is his top priority. Trade, and defence are the main agenda of bilateral talk.
