CHENNAI: Indian Bank Padi branch customers expressed satisfaction with the bank’s performance at the customers meet organised by the branch authorities. The branch which does total business to the tune of `280 crore has a specialised clientele of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that have mushroomed around Ambattur. Several customers, mostly members of the SMEs, expressed their satisfaction and a few concerns with the bank officials. Increasing of the bank’s working hours, possibilities of increasing parking facilities were some of the major issues discussed.“We have maintained account with this branch of the bank since 1974,” claimed an SME customer. “We have been wooed by several private banks that have mushroomed off late but the service provided by Indian Bank is so very good that we have refused to shift this account,” he added. Several customers also claimed that loans were passed by the authorities efficiently within 24 hours time.
