Mar Thoma Syrian church convention

KOCHI: The Kochi-Ernakulam-Aluva centre convention of the Mar Thoma Syrian Church will be held at the Sharon Mar Thoma Church, Palarivattam, from September 29 to October 2. Rev Sham P Thomas, Rev Rejy Jacob and Thamban D George will be the prominent speakers.Special prayer sessions will be held on September 29, 30 and October 1. A special meeting for the youth will be held on October 1.  Bishop Mathews Mar Makarios Episcopa will be the main celebrant at the Holy Mass at 8 am on October 2 at Sharon Mar Thoma Church. He will also deliver the valedictory message. On the occasion the Episcopa, who is set to take charge as the bishop of the Kottayam-Kochi diocese on October 1, will be felicitated.
