Mayor inspects underpass work

BANGALORE: Soon after Sharadamma was elected as the Mayor in May, she had visited the long-delayed underpass at Kadirenahalli and had given a deadline of three months. When she visited the construction site after five months, she found that the work was incomplete. The Kadirenahalli underpass has been in news for the past many months due to the delay in its completion. The work had started in March 2008 with a 10-month deadline. Local councillors requested Sharadamma to complete the work as soon as possible. They also demanded to take action against the executive engineer Vijay Kumar.
