It is learnt that the Metro Man expressed satisfaction over the progress of the ongoing works, including the reconstruction of the North Rail Overbridge (RoB) and the construction of the new flyover near the KSRTC bus station.
Sreedharan also expressed his confidence on the timely completion of the projects. A spokesperson of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation said the new flyover connecting Salim Rajan Road and Rajaji Road will be completed by January 2013.
Owing to certain technical delays, the motor bays of the North RoB actually scheduled to be completed by September end will be completed only by October end. The main bridge will be demolished after that, he said.
