Bhopal: Three Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) terrorists were on Tuesday nabbed by the Madhya Pradesh Anti-Terror Squad from Sendhwa in Badwani. These three terrorists had escaped from Khandwa Jail about three months back.
On October 1 seven SIMI members had made a daring escaped from the Khandwa jail in Madhya Pradesh. The police had succeed in arresting one of them on the same day itself.
The police had declared a high alert in Khandwa as well as Indore following the incident. Questions were raised on the jail authorities as the prisoners managed to smuggle a knife inside the jail and scaled the bathroom wall of the jail. The terrorists had injured two jail constables while escaping.
The incident took place at 3 am on the morning of October 1. The seven were in jail in connection with the murder of a police officer and a bomb blast at a local hospital in Khandwa.
