No party has sought VCK support

TIRUCHY: Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi leader Thol Thirumavalavan on Saturday said his party was ready to consider supporting any party in the Tiruchy West by-poll, if there was a open request. The VCK leader who was in the city, told reporters that no party had sought his support so far, when asked whether he would support any candidate. Commenting on civic polls in which several parties are contesting on their own, he said such contests were healthy for the democracy. He said the party’s stir against death sentence to three convicts in Rajiv case would continue.
