New Delhi: In what might escalate escalate the standoff between the Centre and the Delhi government, the Justice SN Aggarwal Inquiry Commission has issued a non-bailable warrant against Delhi ACB Chief M K Meena in connection with the CNG fitness scam.
The SN Aggarwal Inquiry Commission had earlier on September 3 issued a summon to Meena for passing order that Delhi’s Anti Corruption Bureau would not share any information with the commission. Meena had ignored summon orders issued by the Commission.
Meanwhile, sources told CNN-IBN that a MHA notification has declared the commission illegal, a move that could possiby escalate the tension between the two sides.
Earlier on August 11, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had ordered an inquiry into the Rs 100 Crore CNG fitness scam and had appointed SN Aggarwal, a retired High Court judge as its head.
