Jammu: There is no end to ceasefire violations by the Pakistan Army along the Line of Control. In the third ceasefire violation in nearly 24 hours, one Army jawan was injured after Pakistan Army fired at a BSF post in Hiranagar sector of Jammu.
Earlier Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire twice along Line of Control in the Krishnagati sector of Poonch district. They fired with automatic weapons and Rocket Projectile Grenades on forward posts along the LoC.
Three terrorists were also killed in a gunbattle in the Tangdhar sector of Kupwara in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday. The terrorists had crossed over from Pakistan and were killed near the LoC by Indian soldiers.
"The infiltration bid was foiled in the wee hours on Sunday as a group of heavily armed terrorists were crossing the LoC," an army official said. This is the second infiltration bid by militants in Tangdhar sector of Kupwara district within a week.
