Mumbai: Kareena Kapoor is ready to set the big screen on fire again with a new item number in her forthcoming flick Kya Love Story Hai.
Kareena has rocked to a tune in the film that would be an icing on the cake for the debutante director Lovely Singh's film. Incidentally, Lovely, who was was the assistant director of Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, happens to be Kareena's long time friend.
Her outfit in the song has been designed by Manish Malhotra and she has reportedly done the item number free of cost.
The storyline revolves around carefree and wayward Arjun (Tusshar Kapoor), who gets bitten by the love bug when he meets Kaajal (Ayesha Takia).
As happens in all love stories, Arjun is afraid of conveying his feelings for Kaajal, who gets engaged to another man when he leaves for South Africa.
Kya Love Story Hai is a feel-good romantic comedy oriented at young love, shot mainly in South Africa. However, it is the item number It's rocking yaara kabhi ishq to karo
featuring Kareena Kapoor which is expected to draw in all the crowds.

The Kapoor clan has followed a tradition of their daughters-in-law not being a part of the glamour world after marriage, but Karisma Kapoor broke the virtual law and now Kareena seems to be finding no problem in gradually being transformed into an item girl.
After being a glamour doll in many films finally Kareena has bagged critical acclaim for her performance in Omkara. She says she would continue doing meaningful roles but once in a while such item songs would do perfectly.
“It feels great when you see that people are listening to your song on their car stereo,” says Kareena. Unlike Don, Kya Love Story Hai will feature Kareena's song only at the end of the film.
The film is slated to hit theatres on April 20.
