PM must make stand clear on Telangana

HYDERABAD: BJP state president G Kishan Reddy has demanded that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh should react to the reported statements of his ministers Pranab Mukherjee and Ghulam Nabi Azad on Telangana issue.Kishan Reddy wants the prime minister to make it clear whether the government was still committed to the December 9 statement on Telangana.Speaking to reporters here on Thursday, he said the Congress is playing a double game on state bifurcation issue.He said the BJP would support the proposed TJAC employees’ strike from August 1. He took objection to the government’s proposal to invoke ESMA against the agitating employees.
