New Delhi: In yet another incident of crime against women, a Poland national has registered a case of sexual assault in the Paharganj police station.
The case has been referred to Mathura in Uttar Pradesh where she was allegedly assaulted.
In the police complaint, the Polish woman has mentioned that she was sprayed with intoxicants and then assaulted by a taxi driver.
When the complainant regained her senses, she found herself near Nizamuddin in New Delhi. Local residents told her that she would find English speaking people in Paharganj as a result of which she headed to the place and registered a complaint with the local police. The woman also has a two-and-half year old child with her.
The incident comes in less than a month's time when a Dutch woman was raped by a Yoga instructor in Goa.
