Prabhu Deva granted divorce

CHENNAI: Dissolving the marriage of Prabhu Deva with Latha held in September, 1995, the Principal Family Court here granted divorce by mutual consent to the couple, on Thursday.“The marriage tie between the petitioners deserves to be snapped and it is held that they are entitled for divorce on mutual consent as per Sec 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act,’’ judge TCS Raja Chockalingam said in his order. The judge noted that the relationship between the petitioners had strained and they were living separately from January 2008. They had exchanged their articles and made it clear that they would not make any claim including maintenance and property against each other in the future, the judge said.
