Pravin Togadia Looking for Hindus to do 'Cow Seva', Start 'Hindu Helpline' for New Outfit
Former VHP chief Pravin Togadia is likely to float his organization in Delhi on Thursday that will work mostly on the same lines as the Vishva Hindu Parishad.

Ahmedabad: Former International Working President of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Pravin Togadia is all set to float his new outfit after being forced to quit last month. He has even started circulating membership forms asking those interested asking if they would prefer to do “cow seva” or work for a “Hindu helpline”.

Not just that, the outfit promises social service and "sanskaar" for women above 40 years and lessons on "safety" for young girls.

Togadia is likely to float his organization in Delhi on Thursday that will work mostly on the same lines as the Vishva Hindu Parishad.

Togadia had hinted during his April fast that he will float a new organization. The banners at his protest venue read ‘Hindu Ahead’. He sat on a fast immediately after his unceremonious exit from VHP whose elections were held in April.

The former VHP leader had to quit the Sangh Parivar outfit following reported differences with the RSS for targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the Ram temple issue.

Rajubhai Patel, also a former office bearer of VHP in Ahmedabad city, said, “The name of the organization and the activities it will be involved in will be announced by Dr Togadia in Delhi on Thursday. About 5,000 workers who have been working for the cause of Hindutva will be present in Delhi. This will be an organization that will not just talk about the welfare of Hindus but will actually work towards that goal.”

While Togadia’s exit from VHP has rendered its followers disillusioned, he himself has not been able to garner much support for his fast in April.

Over the past fortnight, Togadia and his team have been circulating messages on Facebook and WhatsApp, asking people to join the ‘Hindu Ahead’ movement. A form is also being circulated by Togadia and his aides, asking people to fill them up and send them through WhatsApp.

Togadia’s new outfit seeks personal details such as one’s name, state, district, address, phone number, email address and age. It also asks if a person intends to dedicate his entire time towards the ‘Hindu Ahead’ movement or whether the person wants to contribute towards the cause even while continuing with his or her studies, vocation or business.

An interested candidate would also be required to choose among thirteen activities of their liking. People have been given the choice to choose one or more, or even all the 12 activities such as “general Hindu organization”, “youth Hindu organization (Hindutva employment)”, “farmer’s movement”, “Hindu helpline”, “Hindu advocate forum”, “cow seva” and other things.
