Professors death mystery unravelled

TIRUPATI: The police have unravelled the mystery behind the death of SVU professor Syamala, who was found dead in her quarters at Red buildings under suspicious circumstances on July 2.  Speaking to newsmen here on Sunday, Tirupati Urban SP J Prabhakara Rao said that Pavitra, a servant maid in Syamala’s house strangulated her to death after a quarrel on some financial matter.Pavitra went to Syamala’s house to wash clothes. Later, she asked for some money to which Syamala refused. Soon they entered into an argument and in a fit of rage, Pavitra strangulated her to death and fled with some gold ornaments.
