BANGALORE: India’s most talented kids shone in Mumbai on Saturday at the eighth annual POGO Amazing Kids Awards 2011, kids’ television awards ceremony.City-based children Sameer Athrey and Jyotsna Ramesh from Bangalore won the POGO amazing kids awards 2011 in the singing and dancing categories respectively.Kids’ favourite superhero-Chhota Bheem made a surprise performance at the event and the winners were felicitated by Monica Tata, General Manager of Turner International India.A POGO original production, POGO amazing kids awards 2011 upheld the channel’s tradition of discovering, recognising and celebrating, the amazingly talented kids across India.Expressing her views on the talent of the children Monica Tata said, “We are extremely excited and proud to announce Sameer Athrey and Jyotsna Ramesh as the winner of the coveted POGO Amazing Kids Singer and Dancer Awards 2011 respectively.”She added, “Jyotsna is an immensely talented girl whose performances are mesmerising to watch and we are delighted to offer her such a platform where kids across India can be inspired by her.
