New Delhi: Actress Shilpa Shetty rushed to London on Sunday to see reality TV star Jade Goody. Jade has been battling cervical cancer and is said to have very little time left.
Shilpa has been in regular touch with Jade on phone after realising her terminal illness, the Mirror reported online. Though she was unable to attend Goody's wedding last month but has flown to London to see Jade one last
time.
Shilpa and Jade were involved in a racist controversy in the Big Brother show but have now sorted out their differences. Jade was starring on the India's version of the show Bigg Boss 2 hosted by Shetty, when she learned of her cancer in August last year.
According to reports, Jade's condition worsened on Sunday night and doctors feel that she might not last out the weekend. The 27-year-old mother of two is at present with her family in Upshire, Essex. She was discharged from London's Royal Marsden Hospital on Marrch 11.
Meanwhile, Jade has expressed that her funeral should be a celebration of life.
