CHENNAI: Paying glowing  tributes to the teaching fraternity, students of five city schools got an opportunity to post messages dedicated to their teachers on a mobile van- to earmark Teachers Day celebrations here today. As part of an initiative of EZ Vidya, an education services organisation, to honour teachers, who actually shape the future of a nation with their guidance and wisdom, a mobile ‘greeting’ van was deployed to the city schools, namely Bhavan's Rajaji Vidyashram, Maharishi Vidyamandir, Lady Andal Venkatta Subba Rao Matriculation higher secondary school, M.C.C Nursery and Primary school and Sir Sivaswamy Kalalaya. Students flocked to the van that was stationed outside each of the schools at a designated time to write messages for their teachers on flex banners.The banners carrying the messages were then handed over to the respective schools.  According to the founder and CEO of EZ Vidya, Chitra Ravikumar, the mobile van will be reaching out to 25 city schools here covering 200kms over a span of three days.  As part of their nation - wide initiative, the mobile vans will cover 20 schools in Delhi, 12 schools in Coimbatore and 15 schools in Bangalore.  The students, who posted messages on the occasion, were visibly excited as they expressed their gratitude.Said Ramesh, a student at one of the schools, "This is the best way to thank my teachers for all that they have done for me."
