Dharmapuri: Former union health minister and PMK leader Anbumani Ramadoss' convoy was attacked in Dharmapuri by unknown persons who threw stones at his vehicle.
Following the incident, PMK cadres staged a protest. The incident comes a week after an FIR was registered against Anbumani Ramadoss for inciting caste enmity.
Ambumani Ramadoss is standing from Dharmapuri as a lok sabha candidate for the first time. His party, the PMK is part of the NDA alliance in the state. MDMK's Vaiko which is also part of the NDA condemned the attack and appealed for calm.
