'Technical Snag' Hits Services on Delhi Metro's Red Line; Office-goers Likely to Be Delayed
There is a major protest planned in the national capital on Friday and scores of commuters could be heading towards the agitation ground.

New Delhi: Office-goers, who take Delhi Metro's Red Line, are advised to leave early today as train services have been halted on the Dilshad Garden and Rithala section due to technical glitch.

Initial reports state that the glitch is being fixed. However, the time taken for the service to restart is yet not known. Commuters already in the coaches of the segment may be delayed to reach their final destination, while others are advised to begin early.

There is a major protest planned in the national capital on Friday and scores of commuters could be heading towards the agitation ground.

Thousands of farmers from across the country are gathering at Ramlila ground to press their demands for higher crop prices and farm loan waivers, among others. The farmers are marching in from Nizamuddin, Sabzi Mandi Station, Anand Vihar Terminal and Majnu Ka Tila.
