The man claims that he earns a good income by selling cow’s milk.

People often think of leaving their jobs and starting their own businesses. As the vast majority of people think the same, the reality is that only a few break free from the corporate shackles and indeed self-employed themselves in a venture that gives them a better livelihood. One of them is Sandip Ramam of Thangadu Oranalli village near Ooty in the Nilgiris district (Tamil Nadu). He left his IT job to rear cows in his village. He claims that he earns a good income by selling the cow’s milk to the customers. Sandip Ramam studied in a military school from a young age. He dropped out of the diploma mechanical engineering course and had 14 years of work experience in the IT sector.

During Covid-19, the IT companies initiated the Work From Home policy. Sandip Raam returned to his village and developed an interest in rearing cows. At first, he used to buy a country cow for household needs and use it to produce and sell milk. Eventually, he decided to take the business one notch higher to explore new types of country cows and their characteristics. He bought and maintained many types of country cows.

He provides fodder and takes good care of the cows for healthy milk without chemicals. It can also be given to newborns as it is easily digestible. People often buy milk from these cows. Sandip Ramam markets his milk through online advertisements. It is for sale in the Ooty and Coonoor areas.

While talking to Local18, Sandip Ramam said that the country cows are very affectionate towards him. He claimed that if someone speaks to him loudly or angrily then the cow stands in front to protect him.

“In the modern age, instead of having various fast foods and then spending money on the hospital, everyone should use domestic cow’s milk, which can maintain a healthy body and provide more benefits to the body,” said Sandip Ramam. He also said that everyone should show interest in rearing cows.
