Dhananjay Hegde and Dattatreya Bhatt of Uttara Kannada district showcase the recipe for Corn Gum. To prepare it at home, you need a cornflour and water. Take the cornflour and mix water in it. Stir it for some time to make it thick. After the flour turns into a paste, pour it into the large container and place it on the gas stove.

Keep the flame at medium and keep stirring it with hard hands for some time. After a few minutes, you will notice that the colour has absorbed all the water and has become thick. The corn gum is ready. It is as strong as Fevicol and does not stick to hands. It is completely organic and carries no harmful effects. This helps in increasing the value of maize as a commodity. However, there is a drawback. It can only be used for one day. It can help in sticking many types of materials.
