KARIMNAGAR: The BJP needs more strength in the Parliament to make separate Telangana a reality, BJP national secretary K Lakshman said. He urged people to vote for the BJP as it was committed to the cause of Telangana. He was addressing mediapersons here on Sunday.He brushed aside allegations of a rift between the BJP and the TJAC. "The TJAC is completely supporting Kishan Reddy's Telangana Poru Yatra," he said and claimed that the yatra, which was launched in Mahaboobnagar district, evoked good response. The party state committee is chalking out action plan to win more than 10 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana in the next general elections, he said.He criticised the Congress and TDP for delaying the formation of separate Telangana. He reiterated that their party would support Telangana bill if introduced in the Parliament by the Congress. He urged voters to teach a befitting lesson to the Congress and TDP for betraying them.Later, Lakshman proceeded to Dharmaram in Dharmapuri constituency where some former MPTCs and sarpanches joined the party in his presence.Party district president Meesa Arjun Rao said that Kishan Reddy's Telangana Yatra would enter Karimnagar district through Ramagundam on Jan 29. It will cover all Assembly constituencies in the district except Sircilla. Party state vice-president Gujjula Ramakrishna Reddy and others accompanied Lakshman.
