New Delhi: Government has decided to set up a 'Trauma Centre' and an Anganwadi Kendra in Nithari where skeletal remains are being unearthed everyday from the drain outside accused Moninder Singh Pandher, Surendra Koli’s house.
The trauma centre would help the families of the victims overcome the emotional and psychological shock suffered in the case, said government sources.
Women and Child Development Minister Renuka Chowdhury said that the report prepared by the ministry in collaboration with the Home Ministry would come up on January 17 and a copy of it would be handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation looking into the case.
''I am really shocked by that incidents like Nithari can happen. Imagine children going for toffees and sweets and being killed in cold blood,'' Chowdhury was quoted by news agency PTI.
The Anganwadi Kendra in Nithari village would help in improving the safety of children of working mothers, said Chowdhury.
