UP: Suspected SP workers torch homes of Dalits

New Delhi: In an another instance of hooliganism in Uttar Pradesh, suspected Samajwadi Party workers on Wednesday night torched homes of Dalits in Sitapur. One person was injured as the two rival groups clashed over a land dispute.

Police say strict action is being taken against the culprits. "There was a clash between the two groups. Action is being taken," a police official said.

The victims allege that some policemen and SP workers were involved.
