Upset over being scolded in school, 16-year-old boy jumps off train, dies

A 16-year-old boy allegedly committed suicide by jumping before a train at Parayee village in Muzaffarnagar, police told reporters on Thursday.

The boy, a class eleven student identified as Vibhu Tyagi jumped before a train on Wednesday.

The deceased's parents informed police that he was upset with them after being scolded over some issue, they said adding, further investigations are on in the case.
