CHENNAI: Former DMK minister Veerapandi S Arumugam was granted bail in yet another land-grab case, on Friday. He could be released on bail on his executing a personal bond for Rs 10,000 with two sureties each for a like sum and should stay in Chennai and report before the Flower Bazaar inspector daily for two weeks, Justice T Sudanthiram said today. Veerapandi was arrested on a complaint from Kovai Jewellers lodged with the Pallapatti police in Salem district.
