Verdict on Satyam auditors plea reserved

HYDERABAD: Justice Nooty Ram Mohan Rao reserved verdict on a writ petition which challenges the application of the provisions of the Money Laundering Act to the Satyam scam. Surya Prakash Gupta, an internal auditor of the company, questioned the Enforcement Directorate invoking the provisions of the Money Laundering Act when the offences are cheating and the same was not a scheduled offence under the Money Laundering Act when the charge sheet was filed.
