New Delhi: The third Test between Indian and the West Indies being played at St Kitts appears to be heading for a tame draw after the hosts declared their second innings at 172 for six giving India a target of 392 from a possible 88 overs.

The hosts did not declare on their overnight score of 113 for four and continued batting on the morning of the final day. Daren Ganga led the West Indies batting and the hosts finally declared after making 172 runs in their second essay.

India had managed to survive for 107 overs in the first innings and batting for 88 overs in the second innings may not be easy for them as the Windies pacers will look to exploit the weakness shown by the Indian batsmen in the first innings.

When the play began on the final day, Anil Kumble attacked from the word go.

Dwayne Bravo was the first to go as he tried to hit Kumble over the leg side, but only managed to lob the ball into the safe hands of S Sreesanth at long-on.

Bravo's fall brought Marlon Samuels to the crease and he played some good shots. But Harbhajan Singh was up to the task and his doosra did the trick.

Samules danced down the pitch only to be easily stumped by M S Dhoni.

Ganga, though, gave Lara's decision not to enforce the follow-on some meaning as he reached an unbeaten 66 off just 75 balls.
