Woman ends life after hubby commits suicide

KOTTAYAM: In a heart-rending incident, a woman ended life after her husband failed to survive a suicide attempt here on Monday.Vidhush, 28, was brought to the Kottayam Medical College by his wife Ambili, 26, and others after finding that he had consumed poison. As attempts to save the life of Vidhush failed, Ambili consumed poison that she had in her purse in the Medical College, sources said. She too could not be saved in the hospital. Doctors suspected that she had consumed cyanide. The two had married against the wishes of their families and lived in Changanassery.
