Zsa Zsa Gabor didn't know about her amputated leg

New York: Ailing actress Zsa Zsa Gabor discovered her right leg had been amputated only six months after the operation because her husband refused to tell her. The 95-year-old had to lose the limb from just about her knee last year after suffering a series of health problems but her husband Prince Frederic von Anhalt never told the bedridden star what had happened until she made the gruesome discovery on her own, reported New York Post.

"It took over a half a year. She found out about it when she told me to sit her up, and she saw it. She couldn't feel it because one hand is paralyzed and one hand was too short to go on it. Finally, a half-year later she said, 'There is

something missing'," Frederic said.

Frederic also said that he refuses to tell Zsa Zsa that she is being fed through a tube because it would upset her.

"She doesn't even know she gets food through the tube. It will only upset her. She was so glamorous always, and she is so vain," he added.
