In 2013, Bhawani Singh Rajawat of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Naimuddin(Guddu) of INC by a margin of 16,206 votes which was 9.84% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 50.65% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Bhawani Singh Rajawat of BJP won this seat beating Naimuddin (Guddu) of INC by a margin of 750 votes which was 0.61% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 47.25% in the seat.
