Margot Robbie who was styled in a pink Armani Prive gown at the 2024 Golden Globes, a colour palette that saw the actor flaunt on and off screen, opted for a red gown at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards which was streamed on Lionsgate Play in India.
Really Pink, Really Busy, Really Fun…is how Margot Robbie described 2023. Looking radiant in red, Margot graced the 29th annual Critics Choice Awards 2024 in a custom Balmain gown embellished with red roses.
The outfit did look Inspired by the 1996 Radiant Rose Barbie doll. Margot Robbie who is nominated for Best Actress for the film Barbie, looked regal in the stunning drape. A bouquet of grace and glamour, the gown fit Margot like a glove. While the ensemble did blend with the red carpet, it stood out with Margot’s charming personality.
Crafted to complement her svelte figure, the off-shoulder gown which she referred to as Barbie-esque on the red carpet was enhanced with red roses decorated around the rim of the off-shoulder silhouette. The 3D multi-layered roses were the highlight of this grand ensemble. The surface texturing on the bodice and the train on the gown added a hint of drama to Margot’s overall look.
Margot definitely won hearts for her camaraderie on the red carpet. Striking a pose in the elegant piece of art, we wonder which Barbie Margot will take inspiration from at her next red carpet outing.
The colour red saw many takers at the awards function, from Dua Lipa, Emily Blunt, Vanessa Morgan, and Charles Melton, among others celebrating the vibrant, sexy and bold hue in an array of shimmery, textured and dramatic silhouettes.
