The 66th Annual Grammy Awards rolled out the red carpet for music royalty, and one artist who commanded attention with her bold and trend-setting style was none other than Billie Eilish. Nominated for both Song of the Year and Record of the Year for her contribution to the Barbie movie soundtrack What Was I Made For?, Billie made sure to turn heads not just with her musical prowess but also with her unconventional red-carpet ensemble.
Breaking away from the traditional glamorous gowns that often dominate award shows, Billie chose to embrace comfort without compromising on style. Her oversized outfit showcased her knack for redefining red carpet norms. The singer looked effortlessly stylish in a vintage black and pink Barbie-themed varsity jacket from Chrome Hearts. The jacket featured puffed full sleeves, a silver heart-shaped buttoned bodice, and a classic Barbie logo embroidered in large pink font on the chest. Elevating the look, she paired it with an oversized white button-down shirt from Willy Chavarria underneath, perfectly accentuated by the sleek black tie and black baggy trousers for an added touch of sophistication.

She kept her accessories to a minimum, allowing her outfit to take center stage. Shiny black sneakers and rectangular-rimmed transparent glasses added a sporty yet chic touch. Her hair, semi-dyed in a striking shade of red, was styled straight and left open, falling gracefully over her shoulders. In the makeup department, Billie kept it minimal with mascara-covered lashes, blushed cheeks, and a glossy lipstick shade that accentuated her features without overpowering her natural beauty.
Her fans expected a different look after she posted a photo on Instagram a few hours ago, hinting at an alternative Barbie-inspired outfit. The post featured a 1960s Barbie donning an olive green dress, a pink headscarf, a classic pink and light green cardigan, and a pearl necklace. While the hinted outfit didn’t make an appearance on the Grammys red carpet, Billie sported it during her performance of What Was I Made For? on stage. The caption of the post read, “Poodle Parade 1965.”
