Beyonce dropped the music video for ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ track ‘Already’ on YouTube in collaboration with Ghanaian singer Shatta Wale and Major Lazer.

It was just a few hours for Beyonce’s new visual album, ‘Black Is King’, scheduled for release on Disney plus, when the pop titan decided to surprise her fans. Beyonce dropped the music video for ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ track ‘Already’ on YouTube in collaboration with Ghanaian singer Shatta Wale and Major Lazer. ‘Already’, close to five-minute in duration, opens with The Gift track Follow Me performed by Donald Glover and John Kani.

Additionally, the singer unveiled a deluxe edition including the recent single ‘Black Parade,’ an extended version of the track and a remix of ‘Find Your Way Back’ featuring Melo-X.

Beyonce, who provided voice to lion Nala in Disney's CGI re-telling of The Lion King, declared that the album is a highly personal project.

After the announcement of the larger new project ‘Black Is King’ in late June, audiences got to witness a full trailer only on July 19.

‘Black Is King’, an 85-minute-long visual album, is written, directed by and is starring Beyonce.

Beyonce, on Thursday, also shared footage from Black Is King on Instagram, mentioning that her daughter Blue Ivy Carter will have a brief cameo in the project together with Beyonce’s husband, JAY-Z, and mom, Tina Knowles Lawson. It was also revealed that Naomi Campbell, Lupita Nyong’o, Kelly Rowland and Pharrell, will join in as well.

‘Black Is King’ started streaming on Disney Plus on July 31 from 8am UK time and 12:00 a.m. PT.
