On the occasion of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 50 years of entering the film industry, a grand celebration has been planned by the Telugu film industry at Hyderabad Hitex Novotel Hotel on September 1. Noted celebrities and politicians will visit the grand event sponsored by Shreyas Media in association with Suchir India. The Film Chamber of Commerce President Bharat Bhushan and other important individuals invited the National Award Winner Allu Arjun on behalf of the Telugu film industry.
Nandamuri Balakrishna completed 50 years in the Indian film industry on August 30. He debuted with the film Tatamma Kala, directed by NT Rama Rao. In his career spanning 40 years, he has acted in over a hundred films in a variety of roles. Allu Arjun is also invited to the golden jubilee of Nandamuri Balakrishna scheduled on on September 1. On this occasion, Allu Arjun responded positively to the film personalities who came to invite him and shared his connection with Nandamuri Balakrishna. The invitation was sent by the Film Chamber of Commerce Secretary Damodar Prasad, Producers Council Secretary Prasanna Kumar and Telangana State Chamber of Commerce Secretary Anupama Reddy.
The event is expected to be grand. Damodar Prasad, Secretary of the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce, in a press meeting on Friday, said all departments in the Telugu film industry are organising Balakrishna’s golden jubilee celebrations together. It will include all the artists, technicians, producers and directors.
“Many dignitaries from the two Telugu state governments as well as the central government will also participate. Celebrities from other states’ film industries also come,” said Damodar Prasad. Some have also complained about not receiving the invitations.
“If the physical invitation does not come to anyone, we would like to think that the Telugu industry is our family and think that this is our pride for everyone and we want everyone to participate and make the program a success,” said Damodar Prasad.
Nandamuri Balakrishna was last seen in the film Bhagavanth Kesari, directed by Anil Ravipudi.
