Bollywood stars are synonymous with fitness nowadays with everyone vying for a body to die for. Actors often need to shape their bodies according to the demands of the role that they are playing and they are often also seen as fitness icons by the youth. Time to time, workout and training montages of actors and actresses go viral and fans are left impressed by the physical prowess of their favourite stars. Ananya Pandey recently shared a video of her workout regimen on her Instagram story, where she is seen working out her glutes. In the video, she is seen wearing a black tank top and matching shorts. Ananya Pandey is seen performing weighted hip thrusts, aided by her trainer in the gym. She is seen lifting a total weight of 120 kilos through hip thrusts. She captioned the video. “What does not kill you makes you you”.
The hip thrust exercise focuses on the gluteus maximus, the largest muscle in the body. It also engages the hamstrings, quadriceps, and adductors. Strengthening this muscle can enhance overall lower body strength, size, and power by targeting hip extension.
Ananya is the daughter of Bollywood actor Chunky Pandey and costume designer Bhavana. She started her acting career in 2019 by playing the role of Shreya in the film Student of the Year 2. Directed by Punit Malhotra and produced by Nokia Studios and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the romantic comedy film was a sequel to the 2012 movie Student of the Year.
