Anurag Dobhal Thanks Elvish Yadav For Support During Bigg Boss 17: 'Dil Se... Jai Shree Ram'

Salman Khan’s popular reality show, Bigg Boss 17, has finally come to an end. After months of drama and entertainment, comedian Munawar Faruqui lifted the coveted trophy and won the grand title. While all previous contestants of the season had turned up for the finale, Anurag Dobhal gave it a miss. He has now thanked former Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav for his support.

Taking to the microblogging site X, formerly known as Twitter, Anurag wrote, “Never openly said it on social media but saying it now, dil se shukriya to my brothers @ElvishYadav @BhaiiSamrat @randomsena @loveutuber and Brosena x Elvisharmy for supporting me when I was in the house ❤️And to all fans out there jinhoney itna support kiya. Jai Shree Ram.”

News18 had reported earlier that Anurag will not be attending the show’s finale. We exclusively learnt that Anurag Dobhal is not happy with the makers of Bigg Boss 17 and therefore had decided to skip the grand finale. “He is not attending the grand finale. He is upset because of his journey in the show and the way he was eliminated. Anurag is sure that he does not want to be a part of the show’s grand finale,” a source close to the YouTuber said.

Anurag was eliminated from the Bigg Boss 17 house on January 1 after the majority of housemates voted against him. Following his eviction, several of his fans expressed disappointment and called it “unfair”. Later, in an interview, Anurag claimed that he was expecting his elimination and alleged that the makers wanted him out of the show as soon as possible.

“I knew for a long time now that they are planning my elimination. They were actually twisting the game for that, as we saw how Isha (Malviya) was given the power to vote out last week. And now, this happened, where housemates voted against me,” he told India Today.
