'Being Spoiled Rotten Every Day': Trisha Krishnan Receives Home Food From Chiranjeevi

Trisha Krishnan has been treating her fans to some unmissable BTS clicks from the shoot of her upcoming film with Megastar Chiranjeevi, titled Vishwambhara. Recently, she shared a photo on her Instagram Stories showing a lavish feast organised by the legendary actor on the sets of the film.

In the picture, several healthy dishes are served in multiple bowls for Trisha. She captioned the photo, “Being spoiled rotten every day by the megastar” along with a greedy and crying emoji.

Trisha also shared a nostalgic throwback photo showing her with the film’s crew, which includes Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani, director Maliidi Vassish, producer V Vamsi Krishna Reddy and other key figures.

Earlier this year, Trisha shared more glimpses of shooting with Chiranjeevi and his brother Pawan Kalyan and expressed her excitement about working together.

Vishwambhara, directed by Maliidi Vassish and featuring Trisha Krishnan, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Mrunal Thakur, Vennela Kishore and Kunal Kapoor in important roles, marks Trisha’s return to Telugu cinema after an eight-year hiatus. Reportedly, Chiranjeevi will play Dorababu, a devoted devotee of Lord Hanuman, in the film. The music has been composed by MM Keeravani. The film is slated to release during Sankranti in 2025.

After making her debut in a small supporting role in the Tamil romantic drama Jodi (1999), Trisha had her first leading role in the film Mounam Pesiyadhe (2002). She rose to fame through her leading roles in the commercially successful films Saamy (2003), Ghilli (2004) and Aaru (2005) in Tamil cinema and Varsham (2004), Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana (2005), Athadu (2005) and Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule (2007) in Telugu cinema, winning three Filmfare Awards for Best Actress – Telugu.

Trisha made her debut in Hindi cinema in the film Khatta Meetha (2010). Her performances in the comedy-drama Abhiyum Naanum (2008), the romantic drama Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa (2010), the political thriller Kodi (2016), the romantic drama 96 (2018) and the historical dramas Ponniyin Selvan: I (2022) and Ponniyin Selvan: II (2023) received critical acclaim. Her performances in Kodi and 96 earned her the Filmfare Critics Best Actress – Tamil and Best Actress – Tamil respectively at the Filmfare Awards South. Her most successful film to date is the action film Leo (2023).
