Benny Blanco Plans To Start Family With Selena Gomez: ‘That's My Next Goal’

Benny Blanco has teased family plans with ladylove Selena Gomez. The record producer’s whirlwind romance with the pop icon is not a secret. Reportedly, the duo have been in a relationship since June last year, with the Calm Down singer confirming the news in December. Over the past few months, the pair was spotted on various public outings, NBA matches and award ceremonies, dishing out major couple goals. Now, in a recent interview, Benny Blanco has opened up on his “next goal” in life, centering around marriage and kids with his partner.

Benny Blanco attended SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show on May 14 where he expressed the desire of taking his romance with Selena Gomez to the next level. When the host wanted to know whether Benny had discussed with Selena whether they wanted to have kids, the record producer gave an honest reply. “It’s always a topic of conversation to me every day. That’s my next goal, to check the box. I have a ton of godkids; I’ve got a ton of nephews. I love being around kids,” he said, as quoted by Page Six.

Howard Stern further inquired about Benny Blanco popping the question to the woman of his dreams. He remained tight-lipped in this regard, asserting that he was taking “everything a day at a time”, claimed Page Six. Showering praise on the Rare Beauty founder, Benny continued, “I just know that when I look at her, I just say, ‘I don’t know a world where it could be better than this.’ That’s what I always say to her.” Agreeing with Howard, Benny added that in the future he sees himself married to Selena.

Earlier, Benny Blanco graced the TODAY With Hoda & Jenna show for the promotion of his new cookbook Open Wide. During his appearance, the 36-year-old jokingly acknowledged that he could not believe that he won over Selena Gomez’s heart. “I wake up every day, and I look in the mirror, and I’m like, ‘How did this happen?” he exclaimed. The musician added that he wooed the singer with his cooking skills.

Benny Blanco’s Open Wide cookbook was released on April 30. Meanwhile, Selena Gomez is geared up for the season 4 premiere of Only Murders In A Building. The comedy whodunit thriller will start streaming on Hulu on August 27.
