Dhanush's Mother Files Complaint Against Sharathkumar For THIS Reason; Deets Inside

Dhanush’s mother Vijayalakshi has reportedly filed a complaint against actor Sharathkumar. As reported by E-Times, she has accused him of occupying the upper floor of an apartment, which is common for all residents. She alleged that Sharathkumar is using that area for commercial purposes. Dhanush’s mother lives in an apartment in Chennai’s Thiagaraja Nagar with her husband.

Dhanush’s Mother Files Complaint Against Actor Sharathkumar

Reportedly, Dhanush’s mother and some other residents of the apartment block raised a complaint against Sharathkumar with the Chennai Corporation management. A report by Indiaglitz Tamil claims that their complaint wasn’t heard properly following which Dhanush’s mother approached Madras High Court.

The case was heard on Wednesday (June 5) and the court has now asked Sharathkumar to submit his response.

Dhanush and Sharathkumar have never worked together in any of the films. However, in 2015, Dhanush shared the screen with Sharathkumar’s wife in the Tamil movie Thangamagan.

Dhanusha’s Upcoming Movie: Raayan

Meanwhile, Dhanush will soon be seen in Raayan, billed as a gangster drama set against the backdrop of north Chennai. The film holds special importance as it marks his 50th film as an actor and director. The movie also features Kalidas Jayaram, Sundeep Kishan, SJ Suryah, Prakash Raj, Selvaraghavan, Dushara Vijayan, Aparna Balamurali, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in pivotal roles. Raayan, directed by Dhanush and produced by Sun Pictures, completed filming in December. Reportedly, it is now in its post-production phase.

It is also being said that the makers are planning a grand event at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi to launch the music of the film. Reports suggest Raayan’s composer AR Rahman’s concert will also be organised at this audio launch. However, there is no official announcement regarding this as of now.

Raayan was scheduled to release worldwide on June 13, 2024, in theatres. However, the release date of the film has been delayed as the post-production work is not yet complete. Reports suggest that Raayan might now be released in July.

Besides Rayan, Dhanush’s next projects also include Shekhar Kammula’s Kubera, Mari Selvaraj’s D 52, and Arun Matheswaran’s Ilaiyaraaja biopic. He is also all set to direct the upcoming project titled Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK).
