Esha Deol Steps Out For FIRST Time After Divorce From Bharat Takhtani, Says 'Main Theek...' | Watch

Esha Deol made her first public appearance since she announced her divorce. The actress, who was married to Bharat Takhtani, issued a statement a few weeks ago to confirm that the couple has split. While Esha has stayed away from social media ever since, she made her first public outing on Monday. Esha was spotted at the Mumbai airport, heading to board her flight. For her travel, Esha wore a tank top with a pair of pants and bucket hat.

Although she attempted to keep a low profile, Esha was seen interacting with the paparazzi. In a video shared by a paparazzo, a cameraman was heard asking how she was. Esha replied, “Main theek hoon (I am fine).” She waved at the paparazzi and headed to board her flight. Watch the video below:

Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani got married in 2012 but announced their separation earlier this month i.e. after 11 years of being together. The two issued a joint statement and revealed that they have decided to separate “mutually and amicably”. “We have mutually and amicably decided to part ways. Through this shift in our lives, the best interests and welfare of our two children is and will be of utmost importance to us. We’d appreciate our privacy is respected,” their statement read. The two are parents to their daughters Radhya and Miraya, who are six and four years old respectively.

While Dharmendra and Hema Malini are yet to comment on the split, a source allegedly told BollywoodLife that Dharmendra is unhappy with her decision to separate. “No parents can be happy seeing their children’s family being broken. Even Dharmendra ji is a father and one can understand his pain. It’s not that he is against his daughter’s decision to get separated but what’s her to rethink over it,” a source cited by Bollywood Life claimed.
