In Pics: Actor Darshan And Vijayalakshmi's Wedding Anniversary Celebrations In Dubai

Kannada star Darshan had a superhit last year in the form of Kaatera, which became the highest-grossing Kannada film of the year and the seventh-highest-grossing Kannada film of all time. Following the success of Kaatera, Darshan is now shooting back-to-back schedules for his next film Devil: The Hero.

However, while filming a scene, Darshan injured his hand a few days back and thus took a break from shooting to recover. Now, it seems the actor has taken the opportunity of the break from the shooting schedule to enjoy a vacation in Dubai on the occasion of his wedding anniversary.

Darshan jetted off to Dubai with his wife Vijayalakshmi to celebrate their wedding anniversary. They were warmly welcomed by Kannadigas staying in Dubai from the airport itself. The celebrations were held in an opulent hotel in Dubai and were attended by close relatives and friends. Vijayalakshmi shared photos of the celebrations which instantly went viral on social media.

While the couple had a blast celebrating their wedding anniversary, it looks like the photos shared by Vijayalakshmi on her Instagram Story, triggered a reaction from Pavitra Gowda, with whom Vijayalakshmi has been having a spat for quite some time. Pavitra has been rumoured to have dated Darshan in the past and in January had posted pictures of herself with Darshan, ‘celebrating’ 10 years of their relationship.

This had not gone down well with Darshan’s wife who, in turn, shared a post calling her out for making such claims about a married woman. Now, just an hour after Vijayalakshmi shared her anniversary pictures, Pavitra shared a video of Darshan talking about ‘Karma’ during an old interview for the promotion of Darshan’s film Kranti. Fans are speculating that this was in response to Vijayalakshmi sharing her anniversary photos.

Darshan and Vijayalakshmi have been married for 20 years and they have a son named Vinish.
